Cicely - In honor of one of the great pioneers in African-American/Black Cinema and TV - Cicely Tyson.

Cicely was of pure grace with a royal and energetic presence that still resonates with women and girls of color around the world.

Cicely was an award-winning film, television, and stage actress notable for her roles that exemplified depth, strength, quality, complexity, and beauty of the heart and mind. She was very selective about the roles she played and at times found herself out of work because of her stance.

Despite her career challenges, she grew to win the hearts of millions across the world in her pivotal roles that shaped how Black Women are viewed and respected in cinema. We honor her greatness and call upon her spirit of resilience, faith, and timeless beauty. 

Symbolism:

• Purple fosters creativity, awakens one’s senses & creates a harmonious balance of awareness & peace of self-transformation.
  
• Orange invigorates energy, vitality, enthusiasm & creativity & taps into your inner wisdom.
  
• Garnet is considered a lucky stone for love, success, and business relationships. It is aligned with your inner fire, the warrior woman spirit boosts self-confidence. All garnets honor Sekhmet, the Egyptian Goddess of War, and is the traditional birthstone of those born in January like our beloved Cicely Tyson bot born January 19th.
• Cowrie shells represent the highly powerful goddess protection, connected with the strength and power of the ocean, and aligned with fertility and the divine feminine.

• Crown is awareness of self and the world, universe, and oneness with God. Knowledge of power and self-control. Spiritual connection, fulfillment, and grounding.

Each waist bead is made to order by hand and customized to specifications indicated in each order including measurements, type of closure, and charm placement if applicable. When ordering multiple waist beads, measurements should vary at least 1/8 of an inch in difference.
