Remember last time when I spoke of planting seeds? Well, one of my seeds has blossomed! If you’ve read this on July 17, 2024, I was moments away from stepping onto the soil in the center of the Motherland. Yes, I’m Africa-bound, headed to the Congo, and about to reap all this “Fruit.”

Years back, such an opportunity was spoken, prayed on, and now, lookahere! It's manifested! I, your SistaFriend, am thrilled to be part of a special trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo, where I will be immersed in the cultural, traditional art, and dance community. This trip is part study, part research, and part rejuvenation, and I can't wait to share my journey with you all.
